Here are some adventure and safety tips to keep in mind:
- Pools: Your family's safety is our top priority. Always watch children and pets around pools, and consider installing a fence with a self-locking gate/door alarm. It's a good idea to have CPR training and to cover your pool when it's not in use.
- Grilling: Before using a propane grill, check the gas tank for leaks, and always open the lid before lighting it. Never leave a grill unattended, and keep children and pets at least three feet away from the grilling area.
- Mosquitoes: Jeffrey Riffell from the University of Washington suggests mosquitoes are attracted to red and black colors but dislike white and green.
